Job Summary:
Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to drive innovation through data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The role focuses on building advanced models, uncovering insights from large datasets, and supporting data-driven products and business decisions across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to extract insights.

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning and statistical models.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams on data initiatives.

• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and model validation.

• Develop predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive analytics solutions.

• Optimize algorithms for accuracy, performance, and scalability.

• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ensure ethical AI practices, data privacy, and compliance standards.

• Continuously research and implement new data science techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.

• Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

• Experience with machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling.

• Experience working with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.

• Familiarity with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
