About the Role

GenesisCipher Labs is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our team on a contract, remote basis. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys working with complex datasets, uncovering insights, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced startup environment.

As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide business, product, and operational decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and leadership, to understand their data needs and deliver meaningful analytical solutions. Clear communication, attention to detail, and a strong problem-solving mindset are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data models, dashboards, and reports to support real-time and strategic decision-making.

• Apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems and test hypotheses.

• Design and execute experiments and data-driven analyses to evaluate product performance and business initiatives.

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and impactful reports and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with product, marketing, operations, and executive teams to understand objectives and provide data-backed recommendations.

• Monitor and ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data sources and analytical outputs.

• Identify opportunities to improve data processes, workflows, and analytical methodologies.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in data analytics, blockchain technology, and the FinTech ecosystem.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis and interpretation.

• Proficiency in statistics, data modeling, and quantitative analysis techniques.

• Experience with statistical tools, databases, and data visualization software.

• Ability to communicate insights effectively through written reports, dashboards, and presentations.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
