About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst – Operations to help scale and shape a rapidly evolving data ecosystem from the ground up. This role goes far beyond reporting—you will uncover opportunities, answer high-impact business questions, and directly influence strategic decisions, product direction, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

📊 Data & Analytics

• Build dynamic dashboards and reports used by leadership for real-time decision-making

• Develop high-quality SQL and Python analyses to improve operational performance

• Identify trends, root causes, and optimisation opportunities across the business

🔗 Collaboration & Modelling

• Partner with engineering and operations teams to transform raw data into scalable models

• Create clean, reliable datasets that power business-critical insights

• Serve as the primary analytics partner for key internal stakeholders

📈 Insights & Storytelling

• Present insights through clear narratives, strong visualisations, and executive-ready communication

• Ensure analytics outputs are accessible, accurate, and actionable

• Champion analytics best practices and help shape a growing data culture

Required Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence

• Advanced SQL expertise (Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres or similar)

• Strong experience with dbt for data transformation and modelling

• Proficiency in BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau

• Data stack experience including:

  • Python (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy)

  • Postgres

  • Looker

• Proven success scaling and optimising reporting infrastructure

• Strong cross-functional communication skills

• Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced startup environment

• Experience in insurance, insurtech, or B2B SaaS

• Exposure to cloud data architectures and modern ELT workflows
