About the Role

Lenskart, one of India’s leading omnichannel eyewear brands, is hiring a Data Analyst to join its growing analytics team in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about working with large datasets, building insightful dashboards, and contributing to data-driven decision-making across business functions.

As a Data Analyst at Lenskart, you will play a critical role in analysing data, building reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders. You will be responsible for converting raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic initiatives and improve overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Oversee the dissemination of key program monitoring data, including organisational dashboards and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and implement data transformations using tools such as DBT.
• Perform MIS reporting and independent data analysis to support ongoing business operations.
• Create and manage internal trackers, product mapping, customer mapping, and team performance reports.
• Conduct data quality audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
• Analyse structured and unstructured data using statistical techniques to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Prepare client-ready presentations and reports highlighting critical data findings and business recommendations.
• Develop and maintain customer insights dashboards to better understand user behaviour and improve customer experience.
• Document data sources, data flows, and business logic for future reference and scalability.
• Lead monthly and quarterly reporting processes, including data aggregation and summary creation.
• Participate in research initiatives, data projects, and potential academic or industry publications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Familiarity with data transformation tools like DBT and understanding of ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
