Job Overview

Position: Data Analyst
Location: Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India
Work Mode: Remote (Full-Time)
Experience Required: 5+ Years

The Data Analyst will report directly to the GCA VP and lead automation, visualization, and analytics initiatives across global operations. This role requires deep technical expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure tools to build scalable dashboards, streamline workflows, and deliver actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development

  • Design, develop, and manage interactive dashboards using Power BI.

  • Build advanced data models using DAX and optimized reporting frameworks.

  • Translate operational and sales data into meaningful KPIs and insights.

2. Workflow Automation

  • Automate manual processes using Power Automate (Flow design).

  • Identify inefficiencies and reduce redundancies across departments.

  • Implement end-to-end automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

3. Custom Application Development

  • Develop and deploy business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps).

  • Support operational and strategic decision-making with tailored digital solutions.

4. Predictive Analytics & Forecasting

  • Create predictive models and forecasting tools.

  • Assist leadership teams with pipeline analysis and performance monitoring.

  • Develop KPI frameworks aligned with business objectives.

5. Azure & Data Management

  • Utilize Azure tools such as Data Lake and Logic Apps (preferred).

  • Integrate multiple data sources for centralized reporting and analysis.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training

  • Partner with leadership and operations teams to implement data-driven strategies.

  • Train cross-functional stakeholders in dashboard usage and automation best practices.

  • Act as a Power Platform and AI innovation ambassador within the organisation.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of business experience with a strong understanding of financial principles.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience (advanced DAX, data modelling, dashboards).

  • 3+ years of Power Apps and Power Automate experience.

Technical Expertise

  • Microsoft Power BI (advanced dashboard design and data modelling).

  • Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps).

  • Power Automate (workflow automation and flow design).

  • SharePoint, Excel (Pivot Tables), Smartsheet.

  • Azure (Data Lake, Logic Apps, etc.) is a strong plus.

  • Strong knowledge of forecasting models and business intelligence frameworks.
