Job Summary – Data Analyst
Eccentric is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about data and analytics. You will play a pivotal role in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to help our teams make informed, data-backed decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and sales, to understand business needs and deliver impactful insights.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for measuring digital performance, optimizing key metrics, supporting strategic decision-making, and continuously improving analytics processes. You will contribute to setting up analytics tracking, building dashboards, and presenting insights that influence business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Eccentric, your responsibilities will include:

Collecting and analyzing data from various digital platforms using Google Analytics.

Designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key performance metrics clearly and effectively.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, and Sales to align analytics with business goals.

Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities in large, complex datasets to provide actionable insights.

Conducting A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of website changes and user behavior.

Assisting with the implementation of Google Analytics tracking, including event tracking, goal setup, and custom dimensions.

Ensuring data accuracy and reliability by validating analytics setups, troubleshooting tracking issues, and implementing best practices.

Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Monitoring and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital channels.

Staying current with the latest analytics tools, features, and industry best practices, including data privacy standards.
Required Qualifications
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following qualifications:

1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience working with Google Analytics and other digital analytics platforms.

Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Analytics.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present large datasets.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insights in a clear, actionable way.

Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including SEO, PPC, and web analytics.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Flexibility and willingness to commute to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region office regularly.
Preferred Skills (Desirable, Not Mandatory)
While not required, the following skills are advantageous:

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.

Knowledge of Python and BigQuery for data processing and analysis.

Familiarity with statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and regression modeling.
