Role Overview – Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst at IntouchCX, you will collect, organise, and analyse large datasets to uncover trends and insights that improve customer service operations and business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting strategic initiatives with accurate reporting and data-driven recommendations.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, statistical thinking, and strong stakeholder communication skills.


Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Management

  • Gather and organise large datasets from multiple operational and system sources.

  • Maintain and develop reporting tools and data systems for improved efficiency.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across databases.

2. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse complex data using statistical methods and analytical tools.

  • Identify patterns, trends, and performance gaps to inform business strategies.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support operational decision-making.

3. Reporting & Visualization

  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using:

    • Looker

    • Power BI

  • Present findings through clear visualizations and executive-ready summaries.

  • Translate complex analytical outputs into actionable business insights.

4. SQL & Database Optimization

  • Fine-tune data queries using strong SQL skills.

  • Work with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration processes.

  • Utilize BigQuery and Google Sheets for cloud-based analytics and reporting.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, leadership, and technical teams to drive performance improvements.

  • Continuously monitor metrics to identify optimization opportunities.

  • Stay updated with evolving industry trends and modern analytics techniques.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.

  • Experience in a contact centre environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.

  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Expertise in Looker and Power BI for data visualization.

  • Proficiency with G Suite tools, including Google Sheets and BigQuery.

  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).

  • Ability to handle and analyse large datasets efficiently.
