Role Overview

As a Data Analyst at StockX, you will analyse customer service and operational data to uncover insights that drive strategic and operational improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define metrics, create reports, and establish scalable analytics processes that support business growth.

This role requires a balance of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills. You will work with stakeholders across product, engineering, finance, and operations to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources.

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business stakeholders.

Business Insights & Strategy Support

  • Translate analytical findings into actionable insights for leadership teams.

  • Support initiatives related to customer experience, operational efficiency, and growth

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer critical business questions

Data Quality & Process Optimization

  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated reporting solutions.

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.

  • Identify gaps in data collection and improve measurement frameworks

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.

  • Present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Document analytics methodologies, dashboards, and data definitions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or business analytics

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and data joins.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Mode

  • Working knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis

  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies

  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, or machine learning concepts

  • Background in e-commerce, marketplace, or technology-driven companies

  • Experience in analysing customer service or operational datasets

  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
