📌 About the Position – Data Analyst
Persistent Systems is looking for a highly experienced Healthcare Data Analyst with deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare datasets and analytics.
In this role, you will work with large-scale healthcare data such as claims, eligibility, provider, utilization, and quality datasets. Your work will directly support business operations, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to data modeling, and translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights. The role plays a key part in driving value-based care, population health, cost optimization, and quality improvement initiatives.
💼 Key Responsibilities – Data Analyst
- Analyze and interpret large-scale U.S. healthcare datasets (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.)
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and transformation
- Work with relational and cloud-based databases
- Support data modeling and integration using platforms like Snowflake and MySQL
- Create process flows, data lineage diagrams, and system documentation
- Document healthcare business rules, metrics, and reporting logic
- Collaborate with teams across Operations, Finance, Clinical, Quality, and Compliance
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear and structured manner
- Contribute to analytics initiatives focused on value-based care and efficiency
🧠 Required Expertise – Data Analyst
🎓 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field
🧾 Experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. healthcare analytics
- Strong exposure to claims, benefits, and eligibility data
💻 Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with Snowflake, MySQL, and data warehousing concepts
- Experience using Microsoft Visio or draw.io for documentation

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
