The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

As a Data Analyst at Solventum, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that influence key business and operational decisions. You’ll collaborate with talented professionals across multiple disciplines and geographies, contributing to Solventum’s mission of improving global healthcare through data-driven innovation.

You will have the opportunity to leverage your analytical expertise to manage, interpret, and visualize complex datasets — helping teams uncover patterns, identify trends, and drive strategic actions.


Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Follow a variety of well-defined data management and analysis procedures under general guidance from senior data professionals.

  • Collect, clean, and consolidate diverse datasets including cost, asset, and project-related data from multiple internal and external sources.

  • Develop and maintain a centralized data repository that ensures data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.

  • Analyze data to extract meaningful insights and present findings through clear, compelling data visualizations using tools such as Power BI and AWS QuickSight.

  • Identify and track data trends, proactively developing alerts and dashboards that highlight deviations or anomalies.

  • Handle non-routine analytical requests, applying creativity and reasoning to solve complex data challenges.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

  • Maintain ongoing responsibility for data feeds, visualizations, and reporting infrastructure to ensure high-quality, reliable insights.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or similar).

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, data management, or business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills — able to translate technical findings into business-friendly language.

  • Proficiency in Power BI, AWS QuickSight, or similar visualization platforms.

  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data cleaning processes.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt analytical approaches for complex, non-standard challenges.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Apptio Cloudability and cloud-based data systems is a plus.

  • A collaborative, curious, and detail-oriented personality that thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments.
