Forecasting the Future: Nestlé is Hiring a Data Analyst in Gurugram
Nestlé Business Services (NBS) is the analytical heart of the Nestlé Group. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Planning & Operations team in Gurugram.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the statistical and machine learning models that ensure Nestlé products reach millions of consumers worldwide. Working within a multicultural team of 308,000 professionals, you will use cutting-edge tech like Databricks and Snowflake to drive forecasting accuracy for a company with over CHF 91.4 billion in global sales.
The Role: Precision in Supply Chain
As a Demand Analyst, you will bridge the gap between complex data science and real-world supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Model Development: Build and maintain advanced statistical and Machine Learning models for demand forecasting.

Tech Stack Execution: Leverage Python, PySpark, Azure, and Databricks to process large-scale supply chain data.

Performance Monitoring: Conduct back-testing and monitor model bias to ensure high forecast accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to gather insights and drive the adoption of statistical methods.

Continuous Improvement: Iterate on forecasting tools to reduce waste and optimise Nestlé’s global 413-factory network.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.

Experience: 2+ years in demand modelling (time series/statistical/ML).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python/PySpark, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.

Soft Skills: Collaborative mindset, fluency in English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
