Role Overview

As a Cybersecurity Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across enterprise systems. You will play a key role in leading incident response activities, strengthening security controls, supporting audits, and improving the organization’s overall security posture.

This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to translate technical risks into actionable business insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee enterprise security risks, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with SOC teams, resolver teams, and IT stakeholders to address security threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Lead and coordinate responses to security incidents and cyber breaches.

  • Support the architecture, deployment, and enhancement of security tools and platforms.

  • Analyze evolving threat landscapes and deliver actionable threat intelligence.

  • Act as the primary contact for third-party audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments.

  • Work with IT teams to prioritize vulnerabilities and manage patching cycles for servers and workstations.

  • Serve as a bridge between SOC operations and resolver teams for security-related issues.

  • Assist in preparing security dashboards, metrics, and executive reports.

  • Maintain risk registers and report regularly on risk trends and key security metrics.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the overall security posture.

  • Review and approve monthly patch deployments across enterprise systems.

  • Develop, document, and maintain security policies and procedures.


Required Skills and Expertise

  • Strong experience in incident response, threat detection, and SOC operations.

  • Hands-on knowledge of vulnerability assessments and vulnerability management programs.

  • Proficiency in SIEM platforms, threat-hunting tools, and security monitoring solutions.

  • In-depth understanding of threat landscapes, attack vectors, and adversary techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

  • Ability to translate technical security data into clear, actionable insights.

  • Experience working independently to identify emerging threats within enterprise networks.

  • Familiarity with security tools such as Microsoft Defender ATP, Office 365 ATP, and related platforms.

  • Solid understanding of cloud security, networking concepts, and best practices.

  • Exposure to threat modeling methodologies for complex systems.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education with relevant experience.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the cybersecurity or information security domain.

  • Experience working with enterprise-grade security products and platforms.

  • Willingness to participate in on-call security support when required.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and security tools.


Preferred Certifications (Good to Have)

  • Security+

  • CEH / ECIH

  • GCIH / GCIE

  • SIEM or Vulnerability Management certifications

  • Tool-specific security certifications
