The Role: Computer Vision Architect (Gaming & Analytics)

We are seeking a Technical Visionary to lead the development of our camera-based recognition systems. In this role, you will complement our RFID-powered solutions by designing and scaling intelligent vision systems that track game actions, player behaviours, and chip movements in real-time.

This is a greenfield opportunity to build a computer vision architecture from the ground up, directly enhancing game security and player analytics for the global casino industry.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and lead vision-based systems for real-time state recognition (card dealing, chip movements, hand gestures).

  • Deep Learning Pipelines: Develop CV pipelines combining classical methods with deep learning (Object Detection, Pose Estimation, Segmentation).

  • Sensor Fusion: Work on multi-camera tracking and camera calibration, fusing vision data with RFID signal data.

  • Edge & Cloud Optimization: Build models optimized for NVIDIA Jetson/Edge deployment in high-traffic, low-light environments.

  • Mentorship: Guide junior ML engineers through system design workshops and rigorous code reviews.

  • R&D: Stay at the forefront of Vision Transformers (ViT), multi-modal AI, and synthetic data generation.

💪 Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years in Computer Vision, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role.

  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.

  • Specialisation: Hands-on experience with real-time object tracking, pose estimation, and action recognition.

  • Tools: Expert knowledge of OpenCV, MediaPipe, and custom CUDA acceleration pipelines.

  • Deployment: Demonstrated success building vision models for edge/embedded systems (OpenVINO, NVIDIA Jetson).

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in sports analytics, retail surveillance, or casino environments.

  • Knowledge of C++ or Rust for low-level camera interfacing.

  • Familiarity with AWS Greengrass, Kafka, or MQTT for cloud-to-edge deployment.
