  • Data Engineering: Build metrics, scalable data pipelines, and automated reports to inform business strategy.

  • Visualisation: Design and maintain dashboards that provide near real-time insights for leadership.

  • Data Literacy: Build self-service tooling and provide training to empower stakeholders to be data-literate and self-sufficient.

  • Executive Reporting: Create high-impact reports such as Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs).

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

Stripe values grit, integrity, and a rigorous approach to problem-solving.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: MS/MA + 2 years OR BS/BA + 3 years of full-time experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence Engineering, or Business Analytics.

  • Core Competencies: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and communicate results to drive impact.

  • Pipeline Management: Ability to implement and maintain data pipelines and dashboards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.

  • Experience with distributed data frameworks like Apache Spark.

  • Working knowledge of Python and strong statistical foundations.

  • Familiarity with engineering best practices (code reviews, testing, Git).

Work Location & Flexibility (Hybrid & Remote)

Stripe offers a flexible “best of both worlds” approach to work:

  • Hybrid (In-Office): Office-assigned Stripes (NYC, Seattle, SF) spend at least 50% of their time in the office for in-person collaboration.

  • Remote: Available for candidates living 35+ miles (56+ km) from a Stripe office within the United States.

 Pay, Benefits, and Growth

Stripe is committed to competitive compensation and holistic well-being.

  • Salary Range: $146,900 – $220,300 USD per year (depending on location and experience).
