💼 About the Role – Business Analyst
Systems Arabia is looking for a skilled Temenos Transact (T24) Business Analyst with deep expertise in Islamic Banking, especially in lending products, Arrangement Architecture (AA), and LD to AA migration.
In this role, you will act as a functional SME, working closely with business, IT, and Shariah teams to deliver high-quality banking solutions and transformation initiatives.
🚀 Key Responsibilities – Business Analyst
🔹 Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Lead requirement gathering for Temenos Transact Islamic Banking modules
- Conduct stakeholder workshops with business, IT, and Shariah teams
- Prepare BRD and FRD documentation
- Perform AS-IS to TO-BE mapping, gap analysis, and solution design
- Ensure compliance with Islamic banking principles
🔹 Temenos Transact (T24) Expertise
- Act as SME for Islamic Banking modules
- Work on products like:
- Murabaha, Ijarah, Mudarabah, Musharakah, Tawarruq
- Handle customer/account management and Islamic deposits
- Support product configuration and system setup
🔹 AA & LD to AA Migration
- Lead Arrangement Architecture (AA) implementations
- Drive LD to AA migration:
- Mapping legacy structures
- Defining product models and configurations
- Supporting data migration and validation
- Collaborate with technical teams for post-migration accuracy
🔹 Testing & UAT Support
- Define UAT strategy, scenarios, and test cases
- Support UAT execution and defect resolution
- Validate outputs for business, accounting, and Shariah compliance
🔹 Documentation & Governance
- Maintain BRDs, FRDs, and functional designs
- Document process flows and data mappings
- Ensure audit-ready documentation and traceability
🔹 Stakeholder & Project Coordination
- Act as liaison between business, IT, vendors, and integrators
- Participate in planning and governance meetings
- Track risks, dependencies, and project updates
🎯 Required Qualifications – Business Analyst
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking/financial services
- Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Transact (T24)
- Proven expertise in Islamic Banking environments
- Experience in AA implementations and LD to AA migration
- Strong understanding of:
- Islamic lending & financing products
- Islamic deposits and savings
- End-to-end banking processes
- Familiarity with regulatory and Shariah compliance
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Visio
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
➕ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Shariah teams
- CBAP / CCBA certification
- Temenos Transact or Islamic Banking certifications
