About the Role

As a Business Analyst at WTW, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that business intelligence solutions and Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS) are aligned with operational and strategic objectives.

You will be involved throughout the solution lifecycle—from requirement gathering and documentation to testing, reporting, and continuous improvement—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and business value.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Gather, analyse, and document detailed requirements from business stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, HR, and related teams.

  • Translate business requirements into clear configuration and development specifications with well-defined acceptance criteria.

  • Communicate technical solutions in a business-friendly manner to ensure stakeholder alignment.

  • Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

  • Stay informed on evolving business practices and emerging IT solutions to support continuous process enhancement.

Testing & Validation

  • Review test cases and test results during System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles

  • Perform high-level functional testing when required to ensure solution quality and completeness.

  • Validate that delivered solutions meet agreed business requirements and standards.

Reporting, Search & Analytics Support

  • Collaborate with business teams, ICCM, MWS, and HR to lead search optimization and SEO-related discussions.

  • Analyse enterprise search data to reduce abandoned or unsuccessful searches.

  • Prepare and share monthly search performance reports using SP out-of-the-box (OOB) data.

  • Support ad-hoc analytics requests and content promotion initiatives.

  • Assist in improving the overall intranet search experience through data-driven insights.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical and functional documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Document automated workflows, system logic, and reporting processes

  • Create reference materials to support troubleshooting, future enhancements, and end-user guidance.

  • Enable effective knowledge transfer between business users and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field

  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a corporate or enterprise environment

  • Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting systems, and data analysis concepts

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and development teams

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with enterprise reporting or MIS/MIRS platforms

  • Exposure to UAT planning, test case validation, and solution sign-off

  • Familiarity with intranet platforms, enterprise search, or SEO analytics (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deliverables
