Job Role: Business Analyst (Guidewire ClaimCenter)
The Business Analyst will support Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims initiatives using the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure the successful delivery of claims system solutions.
The candidate will act as a bridge between business and technical teams by translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
🕒 Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (overlapping with US business hours)
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will perform several critical functions within claims transformation initiatives, including:

Acting as a Business Analyst for P&C insurance claims initiatives

Working extensively with Guidewire ClaimCenter modules and workflows
-
Gathering, analysing, and documenting end-to-end claims business requirements
-
Translating business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
-
Supporting the configuration and enhancement of ClaimCenter features
-
Collaborating with product owners, development teams, and QA engineers
-
Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution
-
Handling defect tracking and resolution during testing cycles
-
Ensuring compliance with insurance regulations and industry standards
-
Providing functional support for production issues and change requests
-
Facilitating stakeholder workshops, solution walkthroughs, and review sessions
-
Continuously improving claims processes using data-driven insights
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance

Expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, including configuration and workflows

Deep knowledge of the claims lifecycle, including:

First Notice of Loss (FNOL)

Claims adjudication

Reserves management

Subrogation

Settlement processing

Experience documenting business requirements, such as:

BRD (Business Requirement Document)

FRD (Functional Requirement Document)

User stories and process documentation

Strong understanding of insurance data models

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
