Job Summary

The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements across multiple projects. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that systems and solutions align with organisational objectives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with executive leadership, project managers, developers, and end users to define system goals, improve business processes, and support testing and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage with executive leaders, business owners, and end users to gather business, operational, and system requirements.

  • Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Identify stakeholders and establish clear roles and responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Documentation

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and workflow analysis to elicit user requirements.

  • Translate business needs into clear, structured, functional and technical requirements.

  • Develop and maintain standardized requirement documentation and templates.

  • Validate requirements for accuracy, completeness, feasibility, and consistency.

Process Modelling & Solution Design

  • Create process flows, use cases, diagrams, and specifications to guide development teams.

  • Develop prototypes and interface mockups where required.

  • Define the scope and impact of requirements and recommend solution approaches.

Testing & Quality Assurance Support

  • Create and execute test scripts for system, regression, and user acceptance testing.

  • Support QA and UAT activities to ensure solutions meet defined requirements.

  • Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and requirement gaps.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Communicate requirement changes and enhancements to all stakeholders.

  • Review existing requirement-gathering processes and recommend improvements.

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, modelling, and validation

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in test script creation and execution

  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and best practices

  • Experience working with web-based and desktop applications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

  • Familiarity with software development life cycles and project management methodologies

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MS CRM, SharePoint, MS GP, and SQL Server (2005+)

  • Background in software design, development, testing, and implementation

  • Experience creating functional specifications, process diagrams, and training materials

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment

  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams
