Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will lead the process discovery and analysis of the current-state RFI (Request for Information) process across compliance, business, and operational teams. The primary objective is to redesign and optimize workflows to align with regulatory expectations, internal risk appetite frameworks, and digital banking principles.

You will play a critical role in bridging business requirements with technology capabilities, ensuring that processes are efficient, scalable, and governance-compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a detailed current-state process analysis of the RFI lifecycle across departments.

  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, control gaps, and compliance risks.

  • Design and document an optimized future-state RFI process aligned with regulatory standards and operational efficiency.

  • Develop detailed process maps, swim-lane diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using standard business analysis tools.

  • Collaborate closely with compliance SMEs, business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology partners.

  • Recommend and support the implementation of automation tools and digital enablers to improve turnaround time, traceability, and control mechanisms.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of requirements, risks, assumptions, and governance decisions.

  • Drive continuous process redesign and performance improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and risk management principles.

  • Expertise in process mapping, workflow documentation, and gap analysis.

  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with automation platforms and digital transformation initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and governance-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in digital banking projects.

  • Exposure to compliance-heavy environments and audit requirements.

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall frameworks.
