📌 Job Summary – Business Analyst

Cosette Network is looking for a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in the Utility domain (Power, Gas, or Water). The role involves bridging business needs with technology solutions by working closely with stakeholders, analyzing processes, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

🔑 Key Responsibilities – Business Analyst

1. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional & non-functional requirements

2. Workshops & Interviews

  • Conduct sessions across utility operations like Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Retail

3. Documentation

  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows

4. Process Improvement

  • Analyze existing workflows and suggest improvements aligned with regulations

5. Systems Support
Work with key utility systems such as:

  • Customer Information Systems (CIS)

  • Meter Data Management (MDM)

  • Billing & Revenue Management

  • Outage Management Systems (OMS)

  • Asset Management Systems

6. Testing & QA

  • Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking

7. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

  • Support KPI tracking and reporting

8. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and vendors

🛠️ Required Skills – Business Analyst

  • Experience with Smart Grid, AMI, or digital transformation projects

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks

  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Tableau

  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM/PMI-ACP) is a plus
