Role Overview: Business Analyst
The Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between clients and internal product development teams. In this role, you will define client objectives, gather and document system requirements, and ensure the successful implementation of healthcare technology solutions.
You will be deeply involved throughout the full client lifecycle—from RFP and demos to go-live and post-implementation optimization—ensuring solutions align with client needs and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Requirement Analysis

Work directly with clients to understand system requirements and business objectives.

Translate client needs into detailed functional specifications and documentation.

Provide a strong business case for product enhancements and improvements.
Collaboration with Product & Development Teams
-
Communicate requirements clearly to product development teams.
-
Support QA and technical teams with clarification on functional expectations.
-
Participate in product testing before client release to ensure system accuracy and performance.
Implementation & System Configuration
-
Build and configure systems according to approved design documentation.

Ensure configurations meet client requirements and function as expected.
-
Document configuration design documents (CDD), workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
Full Client Lifecycle Support
You will be actively integrated across all stages, including:

RFP responses

Product demonstrations

Project kick-off sessions

Implementation and go-live
-
Optimization and enhancements
Defect Resolution & Support

Assist in triaging escalated system defects.

Provide clarification on defects and collaborate to resolve issues efficiently.

Offer post go-live support to clients and internal teams.
Documentation & Compliance

Maintain process workflows and system documentation.
-
Ensure adherence to company policies and confidentiality standards.

Comply with HIPAA regulations and data security requirements.
Training & Knowledge Sharing

Support SMEs with client training initiatives.
-
Participate in internal training events and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Maintain industry expertise in healthcare and pharmacy systems.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Business Analyst.

At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or speciality pharmacy environment.

Strong familiarity with healthcare and pharmacy system designs and workflows.

Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

Proficiency in SQL and Crystal Reports.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organisational skills.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment.

Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Sedentary work environment (extended periods of sitting).

Occasional light lifting (up to 10 pounds).

Minimal travel (less than 5%), typically for training purposes.
