Job Summary – Business Analyst

Kapiva is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Business Analyst to support its growing operations across e-commerce, international business, and offline sales channels.

The selected candidate will analyze website performance, customer behavior, sales data, and operational metrics to identify insights and opportunities that improve business performance and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities – Business Analyst

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze conversion funnels, customer journeys, and e-commerce performance metrics.

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, and BI dashboards to evaluate business performance.

  • Identify trends in customer behavior, product performance, and promotional campaigns.

  • Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for conversion rate optimization (CRO).

  • Analyze outlet-level sales performance, distribution trends, and regional growth drivers.

  • Track new outlet acquisition efficiency and ramp-up performance.

  • Monitor supply chain metrics including operational cost and delivery speed.

  • Identify revenue drivers and cost optimization opportunities.


Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Evaluate current e-commerce operational processes, including:

    • Order fulfillment

    • Returns management

    • Customer service workflows

    • Inventory management

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

  • Propose improved workflows and system enhancements to streamline operations and improve the overall customer experience.


Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a key liaison between business teams and technical development teams.

  • Collaborate with departments such as marketing, merchandising, finance, and technology.

  • Conduct meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements and validate solutions.

  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.


Eligibility Criteria – Business Analyst

Education

  • B.Tech or MBA is preferred and considered an advantage.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Experience in international e-commerce and offline sales environments is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as:

    • Google Analytics

    • SQL

    • Looker Studio

  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools and methodologies.


Required Skills – Business Analyst

E-commerce Knowledge

Strong understanding of online customer journeys, conversion funnels, and key e-commerce metrics.

Analytical Skills

Ability to analyze complex datasets and convert them into actionable business insights.

Technical Aptitude

Comfortable discussing technical concepts and collaborating with development teams.

Communication Skills

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.

Tools Proficiency

Experience working with:

  • Looker Studio
