About the Role

Emerson is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join its Global PMO Digital Process Execution (DCX) team. In this position, you will support digital initiatives including the Presto SSCPQO (Size-Select-Configure-Price-Quote-Order) platform and other customer experience and digital process tools. You will work closely with Product Managers to shape requirements, support delivery execution, manage roadmap and backlog priorities, and drive continuous improvement through data and insights.

What You Will Do

Product Discovery & Requirements

  • Support product discovery activities by collecting, documenting, and organizing business and technical requirements.

  • Assist Product Managers in translating objectives into epics, features, use cases, data models, and design artifacts.

  • Conduct data research to quantify business impact and support prioritization of features.

  • Collaborate with design and development teams on mockups, prototypes, and product design reviews.

Roadmap & Backlog Support

  • Maintain and refine product roadmaps and backlogs under product leadership.

  • Break down epics into clearly defined user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and aligned with business goals.

Delivery & Execution

  • Coordinate with Product Managers, IT teams, and developers to support delivery timelines.

  • Monitor sprint progress, raise risks and blockers, and support resolution through cross-team communication.

  • Assist with QA planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered functionality.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Understand system data architecture, integrations, and governance across business and technical environments.

  • Define product metrics and reporting to monitor usage, adoption, and performance.

  • Support post-launch analysis and continuous optimization efforts to improve digital tools and processes.

  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews and recommendations for future releases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • 2–4 years’ professional experience in Application Engineering, Business Analysis, or adjacent functions.

  • Experience with CPQ tools (e.g., FF2) or similar digital platforms.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in business and IT.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and tools such as Azure DevOps.

  • Experience with UX/UI design collaboration and software testing processes.

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Oracle and Emerson platform landscapes.

  • Exposure to Global PMO tools, project governance, and change management practices.
