Role Summary

As a Business Analyst – DWH, you will be responsible for managing the complete requirement lifecycle—from discovery and documentation to delivery and validation. You will work closely with business users, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements that support data warehouse and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements using structured techniques such as workshops, interviews, and documentation reviews.

• Manage end-to-end requirement delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Perform gap analysis and recommend enhancements to existing systems and processes.

• Create and maintain BRD, FRD, and functional specification documents.

• Track requirements, dependencies, and progress using JIRA or similar tools

• Coordinate with data engineering and technology teams to clarify functional needs.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, or process flows using PowerPoint or Figma.

• Support change management and user adoption initiatives

• Participate in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Validate data and reporting outputs using basic SQL queries.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution design and delivery planning.

• Ensure timely communication and closure of requirements across stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of requirement gathering and analysis methodologies

• Experience working on DWH or data-centric projects

• BFSI / Banking domain knowledge preferred

• Working understanding of technical concepts to coordinate with development teams

• Experience using JIRA or project tracking tools

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Ability to create BRD, FRD, and functional documentation

• Exposure to UI/UX wireframing or mockup tools (PPT/Figma)

• Experience in functional testing and UAT execution

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work effectively with teams across multiple hierarchy levels
