Job Summary

IGT Solutions is actively hiring an experienced Business Analyst – Aviation Domain to join its Gurugram office. This on-site, full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with deep domain expertise in aviation operations, flight operations, OCC (Operations Control Centre), and crew management systems.

The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyse existing aviation systems, define business requirements, and deliver scalable, high-impact technology solutions. Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst – Aviation, you will be responsible for:

  • Analysing and evaluating current aviation systems, applications, and business processes.

  • Gathering, validating, and documenting business and system requirements from stakeholders.

  • Working closely with end users to identify functional gaps, enhancements, and new feature requirements.

  • Creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Business Solution Design documents.

  • Supporting the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by assisting development teams with functional clarifications and test data.

  • Defining business problems, objectives, and success criteria, and modelling requirements to ensure clarity and completeness.

  • Conducting feasibility assessments to evaluate the technical, operational, and economic viability of solutions.

  • Performing trade-off analysis to recommend optimal and feasible requirement alternatives.

  • Identifying and assessing risks, constraints, and dependencies related to business requirements.

  • Demonstrating a strong problem-solving mindset, analytical ability, and self-learning attitude.

Required Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Proven experience in the Aviation domain, including:

    • Flight Operations

    • Operations Control Centre (OCC)

    • Crew Management & Crew Planning

    • Training Planning

    • Manpower Planning

    • Fleet Planning, Tracking, and Operations

  • Strong understanding of airline operational systems and business information systems.

  • Hands-on experience in Business Analysis, System Analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work from the Gurugram office (5 days a week).

Preferred Skills & Certifications

The following skills and qualifications will be an added advantage:

  • Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management.

  • Proficiency with tools such as:

    • Microsoft Visio

    • Microsoft Project

    • MS Word and Excel

    • Databases and reporting tools

  • Certifications in Business Analysis, System Analysis, or Project Management (CBAP, CCBA, PMP, PRINCE2).

  • Technical exposure, as highlighted by the hiring team:

    • 7+ years of experience with Spring MVC

    • 6+ years of experience with Core Java
