The Role: Business Analyst – AI/ML Platforms and Infrastructure

We are seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with a specialised focus on Data Science, Generative AI (GenAI), and MLOps. This role is designed for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical data science teams and business stakeholders.

As a Business Analyst in our AI/ML infrastructure domain, you will orchestrate the delivery of high-impact machine learning initiatives, ensuring seamless integration between development, deployment, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Delivery: Lead AI/ML platform initiatives from initial planning through to production delivery.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between Data Scientists, MLOps engineers, Cloud Architects, and business leaders to define platform roadmaps.

• Operational Excellence: Drive the adoption of DevOps and MLOps best practices using Azure ML, Git Repos, and automated testing frameworks.

• Deployment Management: Ensure scalable, secure, and compliant deployment of AI/ML models and RAG-based pipelines.

• Agile Orchestration: Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives to maintain project velocity.

• Stakeholder Communication: Provide transparent reporting on project status, technical risks, and budget alignment to executive stakeholders.

Candidate Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess a blend of technical literacy and business acumen.

Required Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science.

• Academic Excellence: A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with consulting experience in Analytics is highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AI/ML-based technology projects.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python and Power BI.

• Lifecycle Knowledge: Proven track record in delivering end-to-end machine learning lifecycles and production environments.

Preferred Skills (The “Plus” Factor)

• Generative AI: Hands-on exposure to GenAI, LLMs, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)frameworks.

• Responsible AI: Understanding of AI compliance, ethics, and governance practices.

• Cloud Proficiency: Experience with Azure Pipelines and cloud-based AI infrastructure.
