About the Role: Engineering Web-Scale Security

As a Staff Developer at Broadcom, you will be the technical role model for the engineering team. You will lead the development and architecture of products that protect millions of global transactions daily, working within a high-performance SAAS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scalable Architecture: Design and code highly scalable and available SAAS platforms with a focus on high-concurrency and low-latency performance.

• Full-Stack Development: Drive innovation across the stack, from Core Java and JMS on the backend to Reactand AngularJS on the frontend.

• Data Mastery: Engineer robust data layers using relational databases like PostgreSQL or Oracle.

• Cloud Deployment: Manage complex cloud deployments and SAAS hosting environments using modern web components like Nginx or Apache.

• Technical Leadership: Act as a role model for all engineers, communicating at the highest technical levels with stakeholders and project leads.

• Quality Assurance: Produce clean, maintainable code and develop automated tests to ensure 99.99% system reliability.

• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues ranging from system resource bottlenecks to deep application stack traces.

 Qualifications & Technical Excellence

We are seeking a passionate technologist who understands the full lifecycle of web/mobile/API/database development.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Core Stack: Exceptional coding skills in Java/J2EE (Core Java, JMS, Design Patterns).

• Frontend: Expertise in React, AngularJS, and Web Fundamentals.

• Database: Deep understanding of Relational DBs (Postgres, Oracle).

• Services: Hands-on experience with Web Services, SOAP, REST, and XML.

• Foundations: Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Optional: Experience with GraphQL is highly valued.

Experience Requirements:

• 12+ years of professional experience in commercial or web-scale software delivery.

• Proven track record of building SAAS products with high TPS and low latency.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills in a Linux environment.
