Position: Senior Civil Engineer – Federal Government Projects
Location: USA (Remote, with 35% domestic travel)

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with extensive federal government project expertise. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership, and client relationship management to support high-profile federal facility design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead civil design teams and mentor junior engineers to deliver construction-ready design packages.

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, project managers, and federal clients.

• Manage budgets, schedules, proposals, and staffing plans.

• Develop strong client relationships and identify new project opportunities.

• Conduct site visits, engineering surveys, and client meetings (35% travel).

• Utilize Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD, and SpecsIntact.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship required (federal eligibility).

• BS in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of consulting and facility design experience.

• Professional Engineer (PE) License in the U.S. (multi-state preferred).

• Proven track record in producing IFC design packages for federal facilities.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
