The Role: AI / ML Engineer (Design Thinking Led)
We are looking for a skilled AI / ML Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be responsible for building and optimising the intelligent core of our financial products. You will work at the intersection of high-scale data and cutting-edge research to solve complex problems in banking and commerce.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Model Development & Optimisation: Train and fine-tune AI/ML models for diverse use cases, including Text Summarisation, Image Matching, and Speech Recognition.
- Feature Engineering: Implement robust data pre-processing modules and feature engineering pipelines to ensure high-quality model inputs.
- Production Deployment: Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy stable, scalable AI models into production environments.
- Continuous Experimentation: Conduct rigorous experiments to improve model accuracy and reduce latency, documenting all findings for iterative growth.
- Responsible AI: Ensure all model outputs comply with Responsible AI guardrails and international data protection norms.
- Government Tech Integration: Support the seamless integration of AI components into critical government and financial applications.
💪 Technical Competencies & Requirements
- Experience: 4–7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development.
- Programming: Expert-level Python (minimum 1+ year professional experience) and familiarity with C++ or R.
- AI Frameworks: Deep proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, and Hugging Face.
- Libraries: Strong experience with pandas, NumPy, OpenCV, spaCy, and Transformers.
- Cloud & MLOps: Hands-on experience with Docker, AWS SageMaker, MLflow, and Git.
- Evaluation Metrics: Ability to measure success using F1, BLEU, ROUGE, and AUC curves.
- Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree: B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: Professional certifications in Deep Learning or research papers/open-source contributions.
