The Indian Navy has released the official notification for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme (January 2026 Batch). This is a prestigious opportunity for 10+2 passed candidates with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) who are aspiring to join the Indian Navy as Permanent Commissioned Officers in Executive and Technical branches.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination) or equivalent with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or XII).

  • Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2025 and should possess a valid JEE (Main) 2025 Rank.

Age Limit:

  • Candidates should be born between 02 July 2006 and 01 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).

  1. Shortlisting based on JEE Main 2025 All India Rank (AIR)

  2. SSB Interview (Services Selection Board) – 5-day selection process including:

    • Intelligence Test

    • Psychological Test

    • Group Testing

    • Personal Interview

📋 Training Details

  • Selected candidates will undergo 4 years B.Tech course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Navy-approved specializations at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala (Kerala).

  • Upon successful completion, candidates will be granted Permanent Commission in the Indian Navy.
